Dr. Gilbert is an assistant clinical professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is an active member of the hand and upper extremity service. He is actively involved in the education and training of residents and medical students. His specialty interest is in the reconstruction and treatment of fractures, soft tissue injuries, and neuropathies involving the hand and upper extremity. He employs both traditional surgical techniques and minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques.
